The Hazard Lady Bulldogs played a trio of soccer matches this week, and came away with a 0-3 record. The Lady Bulldogs fell to Prestonsburg 4-2 in their first game, and were then shutout by Letcher Central and Bardstown.
Hazard started the week with the Prestonsburg Lady Blackcats. The Lady Bulldogs fell down 2-0 in the first half, and then matched the Lady Blackcats goal for goal in the second half. The first half proved to be the difference in the game as Prestonsburg won the match 4-2. Tiffany Combs and Keisha Hamblin each scored a goal for the Lady Bulldogs.
Later in the week, Hazard hosted the Letcher Central Lady Cougars. The Lady Bulldogs were unable to get their offense on track, and eventually succumbed to the Letcher Central 3-0.
This past weekend, Hazard played in the All “A” state soccer tournament. The Lady Bulldogs opponent was the Bardstown Lady Tigers.
The Lady Bulldogs were unable to put any points on the board, and ended up on the short end of a 10-0 score.
