Chester Stacy, 76, of Hazard, died Saturday, Nov. 10 in Todd County, Ky.
He was a retired diesel mechanic for Brandeis Machinery and a courthouse security worker for the sheriff’s office. He was also the son of the late William Stacy and the late Ruda Feltner Stacy, and preceded in death by his sister, Irene Napier, and brother Wayne Stacy.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Stacy; sons William Timothy Stacy, Adam Wade Stacy, and John Morgan Stacy and wife Tracy; daughters Teresa Ann Price and husband Blaine, and Debbie Jean Parsons; grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Calvin, Koty, Trenton, Taylor, and Tobie; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 with Chris Fugate and Joseph Engle officiating. Interment will be at Jim Grigsby Cemetery at Lotts Creek.
