The Lady Mustangs were off and running at the opening tap. The Lady Cardinals were unable to keep pace, and quickly fell behind. At the horn, R. W. Combs held the 17-1 lead.
Chavies got on track in the second period, and began to put some points on the board. However, R. W. Combs managed to keep their enthusiasm high, going into the locker room with the 27-7 advantage.
R. W. Combs’ offense continued to drop off in the third quarter, but they managed to keep a firm grip on the lead. Again, the Lady Mustangs managed to add to their lead and went into the final six minutes with the 36-13 lead.
