Last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Campton to take on the Wolfe County Wolves. The Commodores got off to a shaky start but were able to rally in the second half for the win.
Things were not going the Commodores’ way in the first period, and they found themselves on the short end of the 15-7 score at the horn. However, Perry Central was able to rally in the second period, taking a seven-point advantage in the frame. This left them down 30-29 at the break.
Perry Central was able to work their way into the lead in the third period, giving them the 44-42 lead going into the final period. The Commodores picked up the pace in the fourth quarter, and put the game on ice midway through. The were able to pull away for the 62-49 win.
