The Buckhorn Lady Wildcats ended their final week of the regular season with a 1-3 record. The Lady Wildcats notched a win against Jackson City, while dropping games to Estill County, Lee County, and Breathitt County.
The Lady Wildcats opened the week at Estill County. The Lady Wildcats played strong, but came up a basket short of the win (53-51). Kansas Rice finished the game with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Buckhorn (51) Madison Couch 7, Hanna Gabbard 7 (3 rebounds), Lavaughn Henson 4 (3 rebounds), Autumn Neace 17, Alex Noble 3 (3 rebounds), and Kansas Rice 13 (13 rebounds).
In their second game, Buckhorn traveled to Jackson City. The Lady Wildcats were able to stay one step ahead of the Lady Tigers, and came away with the 55-48 win.

Buckhorn’s third game of the week was yet another road game. This time the Lady Wildcats traveled to Lee County to take on the Lady Bobcats. The game was close throughout, but Buckhorn would not be able to pull off the comeback, falling 44-35. Madison Couch had a double-double in the game, scoring 10 points and pulling 10 rebounds.

The Lady Wildcats closed out their regular season with a home game against the Breathitt County Lady Bobcats. Buckhorn played hard, and kept the game close throughout, but came up short 66-54. Kansas Rice posted her third double-double of the week, scoring 27 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
