Marion Belle Allen, 83, of Ewing, Va. and formerly of Hazard, died Thursday, March 7 at her residence in Virginia.
She was a minister’s wife of the Pentecostal faith, and was also a music teacher for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ellis Allen; parents Floyd and Elsie Turner; and sister Nora Wiseman.
She is survived by her sons, Tim Allen of Maynardville, Tn., Tom Allen and wife Sara of Harrogate, Tn., Randall Allen and wife Nora of Spring City, Tn., and Desi Allen and wife Joann of Dayton, Ohio; daughters Pamela Phillips of Ewing, Va. and Darlene Leatherwood of Knoxville, Tn.; brothers Floyd Turner of Middletown, Ohio and Cooley Turner and wife Debbie of Spingfield, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Arney-Mullins Funeral Home of Rose, Hill, Va. The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shiloh Church in Middlesboro, Ky. Services will begin at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Roy Smith and Rev. Roger Baker officiating. Burial will be at the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill.
