Lady Dawgs fall to Breathitt 9-6

The Hazard Lady Bulldogs traveled to Breathitt County last week to take on the Lady Bobcats. The Lady Bulldogs fell behind early, and struggled throughout the contest trying to erase the runs. In the end, they would come up short 9-6.

Breathitt County took the early 5-0 lead with a strong rally in the first inning. Neither team would find the plate again until the fourth inning as both team tapped the dish three times (8-3). Hazard would have another three run inning in the fifth, but would not score again. Breathitt County would go on to the 9-6 win.

Jordan Fugate 1 run and 2 hits, Maddison Niece 1 run and 1 hit, Elizabeth Ratliff 2 runs and 4 hits, Kelsie Handshoe 2 runs, 3 hits and 2 RBI, Tori Wells 1 hit and 1 RBI, Aaliyah Stupart 1 hit and 2 RBI and Paige Williams 1 hit.
