Yankees 10 Padres 6
The Yankees and the Padres battled throughout the game, with the Yankees pulling away late for the 10-6 win.
The game was tied after two innings of play (2-2), with the Yankees going ahead 7-5 in the third inning. They then went up 10-5 in the fourth. The Padres could not muster a rally late, scoring only one run in the fifth inning.
The Yankees went on to win the game by the final count of 10-6.

Nationals 14 Cubs 9
The Nationals scored nine runs in the first inning, and then went ice cold. The Cubs used the remainder of the game trying to work their way back into the contest. A late rally by the Nationals lifted them to the win.
The Cubs rallied for two runs in the second and third innings (9-4), and followed that with three runs in the fourth inning (9-7). The Cubs would eventually pull to within a single run at 9-8, but the Nationals rallied in the final frame for five runs (14-8).
The Nationals held the Cubs to a single run in the bottom of the sixth, and went on to win the game by the final score of 14-9.

Angels 12 Dodgers 1
The Angels needed but four innings to stop the Dodgers as they jumped out to the early lead. The Angels scored a pair of runs in the first inning, and added seven in the second inning to take the 9-0 lead.
The Angels continued to add to their tally in the third, plating three and taking the 12-0 lead. The Dodgers got a single run in the fourth inning (12-1), bringing the game to an early end.

The Angels needed but four innings to stop the Yankees this week as they dropped them 10-0. The Angels scored a pair of runs in the first and second innings (4-0) before dropping six runs on the Yankees in the third inning (10-0).
The Yankees were unable to get anything going in the fourth inning, and the game came to an end.

Dodgers 15 Nationals 12
Last week, the Dodgers and the Nationals hooked up in an eight inning marathon. The Dodgers took the early lead, but allowed the Nationals to work their way back into the game. The Dodgers would eventually take the win.
The Nationals took the 1-0 lead in the first inning, but handed over the advantage to the Dodgers in the second inning 7-1. The Dodgers would remain cold through the sixth inning, while the Nationals scored two in each the third, fifth and sixth innings (forcing extra innings).
Both teams scored five runs in the seventh inning, while the Dodgers put three across the plate in the eighth inning. When the Nationals could not reciprocate, the game belonged to the Dodgers (15-12).

The Yankees exploded for 21 runs in their contest with the Cubs. The Contest went just four innings as the Cubs could not keep pace (21-6).
The Yankees scored 11 runs in the first inning, and 5 more in the second. The Cubs put a single run across the plate in the second inning, bringing the tally to 15-1.
The two teams put five runs across the plate in the third inning (21-6), and when the Cubs could not rally in the fourth inning, the game came to an end.
