Danny Fields, 66, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, May 29 at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, Indiana.
Danny was born on November 12, 1946, in Hazard, the son of the late Ardale and Lola (Parker) Fields. He married Carolyn Marcum on July 9, 1968, and she survives.
He was a forklift driver at Foster Forbes/St. Gobain Glass Factory until his retirement. Danny loved bowling, basketball, baseball, fishing, and was an avid Reds fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Fields of Marion; sons Danny Fields, Jr. and wife Debra of Marion, Eric Fields and wife Kalyn of Marion, and Gregory Fields of Huntington; daughters Shannon Fields-Smith of Greentown and Danielle Fields of Marion; brother Larry Fields of Kentucky; sisters Ethel and Bertha of Kentucky; grandchildren Andrea Smith, Andrew Smith, and Alexis Fields; step-grandchildren Josh and Dustin Tighe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by sisters Juanita, Nancy, Lois, and Arnetta.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Eric Roemer and Honorary Speaker Ray Penninger officiating.
Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 4 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
