Fujifilm North America, Inc. is proud to announce that Suzanne Deaton, of Suzanne Deaton Photography in Hazard, has won the Fujifilm Masterpiece Award for photographic excellence in 2013.
Deaton received this award from the SE PPA for the photograph “Preschool Blues” in the portrait category.
The Fujifilm Masterpiece Award is administered by state and regional affiliates of the Professional Photographers of America exclusively for the members of these organizations, and is given to affiliates in the United States.
The award recognizes photographic excellence in a couple of distinct categories: wedding and portrait photography.
“This award represents a strong commitment by Fujifilm to recognize photographic excellence,” said Kayce Baker, director of trade marketing, professional markets, for Fujifilm U.S.A. “The Masterpiece Award is the highest honor that any photographic manufacturer awards for photography. We are proud to honor such distinguished photographers as Suzanne.”
Fujifilm U.S.A. is the U.S. Marketing subsidiary of Fujifilm Company of Tokyo, a leading manufacturer of imaging and information products.
