On Thursday, the Perry Central Commodores traveled to Middlesboro to take on the Yellow Jackets in soccer action. The Commodores jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half, and had the score stand as the final as the game was called due to darkness.

Zac Combs got the Commodores on the board with an early unassisted goal. Logan Spencer pushed the margin to 2-0 late in the first half, bending a long shot past the goalie. The game was then called at halftime due to darkness (Middlesboro does not have lights on their soccer field).
