The Perry County Central Lady Commodore volleyball team played six games this week, with all of them being on the road. The Lady Commodores traveled to Pike Central and Leslie County early in the week, and played in the Dink Scott Memorial Tournament over the weekend.
The Lady Commodores began the week at Pike Central. They were able to push the match to four games, with all of the games being close, but could not gain the win (25-17, 26-28, 22-25 and 23-25).
The second game of the week was at Leslie County. The Lady Commodores were unable to get into the flow of the contest, and fell in straight games (18-25, 13-25 and 13-25).
Perry Central finished their week at the Dink Scott Memorial Tournament, playing four games and coming away empty in each match.
The Lady Commodores opened with Montgomery County. They started well, but fell 19-21, and ended the match with a 12-21 loss.
Match two pitted Perry Central against Fleming County. The Lady Commodores were one step behind throughout the match, and fell 15-21 and 16-21.
Perry Central started slowly in their match with Johnson Central, losing 10-21. They would pick up the pace in game two, but fell 18-21.
They closed out their tournament with a match with Lewis County. The Lady Commodores would fall in identical games 12-21.
