Bulldogs shut down Engineers

The Hazard Bulldogs picked up their first win of the season on opening night as they traveled to Estill County. The Bulldogs were able to outpace the Engineers in every quarter, shutting down their opponent 71-41.

The Bulldogs doubled up on the Engineers 18-9 in the first period. Hazard kept the pressure on in the second period, and extended their lead going into the locker room 37-19.

Early in the third quarter, Hazard would tally enough points to win the game, and went into the final frame with the 54-32. The Bulldogs would go on to win the game by the final count of 71-41.
