The Buckhorn Wildcats hosted the Leslie County Eagles last week, and utilized a high-powered offense to shoot down the Eagles 93-63.
The Wildcats started off hot, and continued to be hot throughout the first period. Buckhorn ended the first period with a 22-16 lead.
Buckhorn turned up the heat in the second period, and put Leslie County in a double-digit hole. Going into the break, the Wildcats were on top 49-28.
Things did not get any better for the Eagles in the second half as the Wildcats continued their assault. Despite a strong third period rally by Leslie County, Buckhorn was able to cruise to the 93-63 win.
