Joyce Combs, 77, of Hazard, passed away Monday, Dec. 3 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
She was the daughter of the late John Henry Cornett and the late Alice Osborne Cornett, and was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Combs; sister Faye Cornett; and brother Billy Farmer Cornett.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Combs; son Billy Dean Combs of Hazard; daughter Sherry Combs Chandler of Lexington; sisters Linda Wooton of Indiana and Martha Robertson of Louisville; brothers Bobby Cornett and Elmer Cornett, both of Hazard; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Maggard Brothers Funeral Home of Hazard. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 with Travis France officiating. Burial will be at the Cornett Cemetery in Hazard.
