Kentucky River District Board of Health Meeting
There will be a meeting of the Kentucky River District Board of Health on Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Pondersoa. All board members are encouraged to attend.

It will be held on Dec. 9 at Senior Citizen Building located at Perry County Park at 3 p.m. We will be having: Bake Sale, Hot Dog Sale, Lots of Christmas Crafts, Different Vendors set up, Door prizes give away!!!, different singers singing. Come join the fun! If you’re interested in being a vendor, (it’s free of charge, we just ask if you would like to donate something for us to sale.) For the Spring 2016 issue of Kudzu, Hazard Community and Technical College is seeking submissions under the theme of Women in Appalachia. If you are a writer from the region or wish to submit a piece that fits within that theme, please submit under the category “Women in Appalachia.” HCTC is also accepting general submissions in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
