“Christmas in a Small Town”
“Christmas in a Small Town”, a Christmas musical/variety show will be held at The Hazard Forum on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person/$10 per family. Presented in part by: The Hazard Area Civic Chorus, Appalachia Arts Alliance, Area Schools and The City of Hazard. Proceeds go to the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky to improve quality of life and place in the community.

It will be held on Dec. 9 at Senior Citizen Building located at Perry County Park at 3 p.m. We will be having: Bake Sale, Hot Dog Sale, Lots of Christmas Crafts, Different Vendors set up, Door prizes give away!!!, different singers singing. For the Spring 2016 issue of Kudzu, Hazard Community and Technical College is seeking submissions under the theme of Women in Appalachia. If you are a writer from the region or wish to submit a piece that fits within that theme, please submit under the category “Women in Appalachia.” HCTC is also accepting general submissions in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
