Free Dental Exams

July 28th at the NEW Hazard McDonalds the UK Dental Outreach team will be bringing the mobile dental unit for FREE exams, FREE cleanings, and FREE fluoride from 12:00pm-6:00pm. This includes the preschool and kindergarten screenings required to enter school.

They will also be providing dental education inside McDonalds and pictures with the tooth fairy and a contest to name our brand new mascot!

Amis Cemetery Meeting

Amis Cemetery Annual Memorial Meeting July 31, 2016 The 66th annual memorial meeting on the Amis Cemetery at Buckhorn, will be Sunday, July 31st. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m., service by Rev. Paul Couch, with other ministers participating. Immediately following the service dinner will be served at the Johnson United Baptist Church located approximately 2 miles from the Amis Cemetery.

The Browders will perform

The Southern Gospel band The Browders will perform, “Music For The Whole Family” at Airport Gardens Baptist Church at 6 p.m. There is no admission charge. All ages are welcome to attend.

Hillbilly Cookout

A Hillbilly cookout will be held Aug. 20 from noon-4 p.m. at the Perry County Horse-park. Everyone welcome!

Summer Feeding Program

Perry County School’s Food Service Department is sponsoring the Summer Feeding Program once again this year. Summer Feeding provides FREE breakfast and lunch for ANY child 18 years of age and under, (they do not have to be from Perry County). We are looking for feeding sites to add to our program including churches, bible schools, youth groups, summer camps, or anyone else that may be interested. Please contact Makayla at the Perry County Food Service Dept at 436-8902 as soon as possible.
