Run with The Dawgs
The Hazard Police Department will have a 5k/10k run/ 1 mile walk on Sept. 17. Registration will be at 7 a.m. at City Hall Picnic Shelter. Race begins at 7:30 a.m. There will be a $20 pre-registration fee. A $25 registration fee on Race Day. All proceeds go to the Hazard Football Team. M.C. Napier Grand Reunion

HHS Open House
Hazard High School will host OPEN HOUSE for the 1st 9 week grading period on September 21, 2016 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Midterm report cards may be picked up, and teachers will be available for conferencing.
Camp Hope free camp
A free one day retreat for children, ages 6 to 12, and their Caregivers who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years. Hazard/Perry Community Choir
Come and join the Hazard/Perry Community Choir. The choir will start Monday, Sept. 6, and each Monday afterwards, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Rehearsals will be held at the Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church on High Street. Singers age 13- adult are welcomed. Music reading is helpful but not required. The choir’s main presentation will be during the “Christmas In a Small Town” event at the Forum on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
Fall Basketball League
