November is National Family Caregiver Month
November is National Family Caregiver Month. During this month all caregivers need to be honored for the many contributions that they make to the quality of life of the many care recipients that they provide care. During November the KY River Family Caregiver Program will be accepting nominations for Caregiver and a Grandparent Caregiver of the year. All nominations need to be submitted to the KY River ADD by November 30. Christmas in a Small Town Salutes Radio Station
The Christmas in the Small Town salutes radio station WKIC/WSGS for 69 years of service in eastern Kentucky. Come and enjoy Christmas musical celebration on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hal Rogers Forum in Hazard. This production is part of the Appalachian Arts Alliance promoting and developing arts showcases and education in our area.
Christmas Encore Concert
The Hazard Area Community Choir will present a Christmas Encore Concert on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church on High Street in Hazard. Please bring a non-perishable food or paper item for the HPCCM food bank as a special offering.
