Business Woman and Mother of the Year applications
The Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club will present two awards at its Saturday, March 25 tea party – one for Businessman Professional Woman of the Year and the other for Mother of the Year. Applications are being accepted now and the deadline is Wednesday, March 15.

Tea Party is March 25 – hosted by women’s club
Come out for the fun when the Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club will hold its annual Tea Party on Saturday, March 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hazard ARH Medical Mall. Hazard ARH is co-sponsor of the event.
Tickets can be obtained from any Women’s Club member, or by calling 487 3265, or by visiting Harmony House, Sena’s or the Decorating Center.
Free concert at Alice Loyd College
Alice Lloyd College Music Office invites you to a free concert featuring The Voices of Appalachia in Concert along with the Wampler Caudill Acoustic Ensemble this Sunday, March 26 at 5 p.m., in Miss June’s Meadow. Repertoire will include traditional sacred choral, blue grass, gospel blues, and shaped-note acapella. In the event of cold or rain, the concert will be in Campbell Arts Center. 22nd Annual Save-A-Lot Raceday will be held April 1
The 22nd Annual Save-A-Lot Raceday will be held on April 1. It is in memory of Sherman Neace and Charlie Kilburn. The Raceday will last from Noon-4 p.m. at Perry County Central High School. Come out for good food, games, door prizes and a car show. A benefit auction will be held for Terry Boyd and Kaylee Campbell. Save-A-Lot is having a Race Against Hunger Food Drive for Hospice Care Center.
2017 Raceday Ride For A Cure in memory of Bryant
In memory of Willie Joe Bryant and in honor of Terry Boyd and Kaylee Campbell, there will be a Ride For A Cure motorcycle ride on April 1. Registration begins at 10 a.m. – noon. Bike show and games from noon-4 p.m. Ride begins 12:15 p.m. All profits will be donated to Terry Boyd and Kaylee Campbell.
