Locals have come together to present, “Christmas in a Small Town,” a musical revue that will be presented Dec 12. at 7 p.m. at the Forum at the Hal Rogers Center in Hazard. Rehearsals begin Monday, Nov. 2, and will be held each Monday in November from 7-8 p.m. at the Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church on High Street. The musical will feature familiar carols of Christmas, and organizers are in search of community members to serve as carolers in the show. If you would like to appear as a caroler, bring your best singing voice to rehearsals, everyone is welcome.
The script for “Christmas in a Small Town,” is written by Anne Gilbert, directed by Tammy Duff, and Letha Patterson serves as music coordinator. The proceeds from the performance will benefit The Appalachian Foundation charities, so be sure to come support your friends and family, and get into the Holiday spirit for a cause.
