Grand jury hands down indictments

HAZARD — Leading the indictments this month is a Breathitt County woman who is facing multiple drug possession charges.

*Angelina Johnson, 37, of Jackson was indicted this month on one count of theft by unlawful less than $500, one count of public intoxication, one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance, one count of third-degree possession of controlled substance, one count of possession of marijuana, one count of possession of legend drug, one count of third-degree possession of controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set in the amount of$5,000 cash plus Monitored Conditional Release (MCR) in the case.

*Patrick Dwayne Combs, 19, of Busy along with Austin Tug Gayheart Jr., 22, of Bulan and Deidra Fugate, 19, of Krypton were indicted this month on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition involving an automotive and one count of first-degree criminal mischief. Comb’s bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR. Gayheart’s bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus MCR. Fugate’s bail was set in the amount of a $5,000 surety bond.

*Felcia Barger, 27, of Hazard along with Billy Caress, 33, of Hazard and Anthony Brashear, 24, of Viper were indicted this month on one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance, one count of possession of legend drug and one count of possession of drugs not in proper container. Barger’s bail was set in the amount of $2,500 cash plus MCR. Caress’s bail was set in the amount of $2,500 cash plus MCR. Brashear’s bail was set in the amount of $2,500 surety bond plus MCR.

*John Travis Herald, 31, of Lexington was also indicted this month on one count of second-degree robbery. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 plus home incarceration.

*Ashley N. Watts, 28, of Hazard was indicted this month one count of second-degree complicity to robbery. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 surety plus MCR.

*Patricia Rowland, 53, of Albion, Indiana was indicted this month one count of third-degree burglary, one count of first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, one count of third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, one count of illegal possession of legend drug, one count of prescription drugs not in the proper container and one count of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash.

*Philip S. Sexton, 32, of Pinetop was indicted this month on one count of kidnapping. The indictment says that on August 24, Sexton kidnapped Jennifer Sexton by restraining her in his vehicle and terrorized her. Bail was set in the amount of $25,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*James L. Prater, 37, of Jackson was indicted this month on one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance, and one count of third-degree possession of controlled substance. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*Sandra E. Magee, 44, of Jackson was indicted this month on one count of first-degree promoting contraband. Bail was set in the amount of$10,000 plus MCR.

*William Daniels, 36, of Ramsey, Indiana, was indicted this month on one count of manufacturing methamphetamine, one count of first-offense unlawful possession of meth precursor, one count of inadequate silencer, one count of failure to produce insurance card and one count of first offense DU. Bail was set in the amount of $50,000 cash.

*Jessica D. Cochran, 36, of Corydon, Indiana, was indicted this month on one count of first offense manufacturing methamphetamine. Bail was set in the amount of $25,000 cash.

*Deanna F. Gwinn, 46, of Chavies was indicted this month on one count of first-degree promoting contraband. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus MCR.

*John David Little, 32, of Combs was indicted this month on one count of second-degree fleeing or evading police, one count of third-degree burglary, and one count of resisting arrest. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 surety bond plus MCR.

*Albert Noble, 30, of Bulan was indicted this month on one count of receiving stolen property less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*On a seperate indictment, Noble was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*On another indictment, Noble was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition parts from a vehicle more than $500, one count of resisting arrest, one count of second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, one count of theft by unlawful taking or dispositin involing an automotive, and one count of first-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*Mickey Stapleton, 54, of Harold and Harlan Dwayne Hall, 45, of Tram were indicted this month one count of theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, Hall was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance, third-degree possession of controlled substance, Hall was indicted on one count of prescription drugs not in proper container, and Stapleton was indicted on first-degree promoting contraband. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR.

*Melinda Francis, 53, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance, one count of prescription drugs not in the proper container and one count of no operator/moped license. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 surety bond.

*Ryan Huges, 32, of Hazard, was indicted this month on one count of receiving stolen property and one count of receiving stolen property less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR.

*Kellie Eversole, 34, of Campton was indicted this month on one count of public intoxication, one count of second-degree disorderly conduct, one count of possession of legend drug, one count of tampering with physical evidence, one count of drug paraphenalia, one count of trafficking in controlled substance and first-degree promoting contraband. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR.

*Johnnie McIntosh, 44, of Combs and Ellis Jones, 34, of Bulan were indicted this month on one count of second-degree criminal possession of forged instrument and one count of theft by deception. Bail was set in the amount of $2,000 surety.

*Ryan J. Stacy, 26, of Ary was indicted this month on one count of receiving stolen property more than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 surety.

*Lourenza P. Jones, 27, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of theft by unlawful taking more than $10,000 and one count of second-degree burglary. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 plus home incarceration.

*Jonathan Noble, 24, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of theft by unlawful taking more than $10,000 and one count of second-degree burglary. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*Terry G. Newman, 54, of Viper was indicted this month on one count of attempted murder, first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set in the amount of $500,000 plus home incarceration.
