Grand jury hands down indictments

HAZARD — Leading the indictments this month is a woman from the Perry County community of Bulan who allegedly possessed a forged power of attorney document and used it to withdraw money out of Johnny Reed’s bank accounts without the knowledge or permission of Johnny Reed.

*Mona H. Bundy, 53, of Bulan was indicted this month on one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of theft by deception less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 plus monitored conditional release.

*Denzil Slone, 40, of Pippa Passes was indicted this month on one count of first-degree promoting contraband. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR.

*Angel G. Haynes, 38, of Combs was indicted this month on one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of theft by deception less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 plus MCR.

*Bobby J. Snell, 22, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of murder, a capital offense, two counts of second-degree assault, one count of first-degree wanton endangerment and one count of first-degree operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Bail was set in the amount of $500,000 cash plus home incarceration.

*Rachel E. Kilburn, 32, of Bulan was indicted this month on one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of theft by deception less than $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 plus MCR.

*Jonathan L. Haynes, 36, was indicted this month on count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of theft by deception under $10,000. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus MCR.

*Derek Ryan Moore, 20, of Ligonier, Indiana was indicted this month on one count of second-degree attempted escape, third-degree terroristic threatening and first-degree wanton endangerment. Bail was set in the amount of $25,000 plus MCR.

*Brad J. Adams, 31, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of knowingly abuse/neglect of adult by person, a Class C felony. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus MCR.

*Kimberly Slone, 26, of Pine Top was indicted this month on one count of shoplifting less than $500, one count of first-degree possession of controlled substance and one count of prescription drugs not in the proper container. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 plus MCR.
