HAZARD — A representative with Cash Express donated a cake to the 9-11 dispatch center in Perry County on Monday. The cake was donated because of all the hard work the dispatch center does for the residents of Perry County.

Cash Express Representative Glenda Hollins feels it is important to honor the 9-11 dispatchers as much as police officers and firefighters.

This isn’t the first time Hollins and Cash Express has donated a cake to the 9-11 dispatch center. They have donated to the 9-11 dispatch center for the past several years.

Hollins has family members who are in the emergency management services and she understand how tough the dispatchers jobs can be.

By donating these cakes, Hollins and Cash Express hope that the 9-11 dispatchers will feel appreciated for their hard work to the community of Perry County.
