HAZARD — The Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club held its annual Tea Party on Saturday at the Hazard ARH Medical Mall. The event is co-sponsored by ARH.
The Tea Party is a day of celebration, with a luncheon, including an array of desserts, plus entertainment, door prizes, a hat decorating area for kids and the announcement of Mother of the Year and Business Professional Woman of the Year, which are prestigious awards handed out by the Women’s Club annually based on a nomination process that is open to the community.
This year, Janice King was awarded Business Professional Woman of the Year, with the Mother of the Year award going to Faye Anderson. Both of these women are treasures to the community, and they have made an everlasting difference on those surrounding them.
The Hazard-Perry County Women’s Club works to make the community a better place. More information about the club can be found on Facebook.
