HAZARD — June 23 is the date for the next Thursdays on the Triangle celebration. Thursdays on the Triangle is a mini festival taking place every other Thursday through Sept. 1 in downtown Hazard’s Triangle Park, with crafts. arts, music, kids activities and great food.
The Farmer’s Market will be part of the June 23 event. All of the action begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs through 8:30 p.m. During the last Thursdays on the Triangle, which happened on June 9, music was provided by the Perry County Dulcimer Club and Scott Allen, who is a singer and songwriting member of the Mojos, The Mojo Filter Kings and Holler Blend. Artist Sarah Stone provided face painting demonstrations and Tamara Sapp was on site with spinning, weaving and fiber prep.
