Grand jury hands down indictments

HAZARD — The Perry County grand jury handed down its list of indictments this month.

*Raymond Baker, 24, of Lebrun was indicted this month on one count of second offense DUI, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of prescription drugs not in the proper container and one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus MCR.

*James Griffith, 37, of Jackson was indicted on one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set in the amount of $1,500 cash plus MCR.

*Bethany L. Sizemore, 40, and Chester Combs, 30, of Buckhorn were indicted on two counts of first-degree criminal abuse.

Bail was set in the amount of $20,000 cash plus home incarceration and MCR for both Sizemore and Combs. They are scheduled to appear in the Perry County Circuit Court for arraignment on Jan. 05.

*Samantha Campbell, 28, of Chavies was indicted this month on one count of second-degree escape and one count of second-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus home incarceration and MCR.
