Police recover stolen trailer


Authorities seeking public’s help in identifying suspects

JACKSON — Local law enforcement are thanking the public’s help in locating a stolen trailer belonging to the Kiwanis Club of Hazard.

The trailer was discovered on Wednesday by Kentucky State Police (KSP) in the Jackson Shopping Center in Breathitt County. Police say there was some damage to the trailer, but all of the contents inside were accounted for.

Police say sometime Monday night the trailer was stolen from Airport Gardens.

Hazard Police Department, Jackson Police Department and KSP assisted Perry County Sheriff’s Department with searching for the trailer.

No arrests have been made in connection with the stolen trailer.

If anyone has any informing regarding the theft, they can call the Sheriff’s Office at 606-439-4523.

You can also submit a tip through HPD’s Tip411 and HPD will pass along the tip to the Sheriff’s Office.

All tips will remain anonymous.
