Sandlin promoted to KSP #9 Captain

PIKEVILLE — Kentucky State Police Post 9 in Pikeville is now under the command of Captain Jennifer M. Sandlin. Captain Sandlin received her KSP commission in October 2003 and was appointed Post 9 commander earlier this month.

Jennifer Sandlin is a native of Perry County and spent part of her law enforcement career working as a trooper in Hazard. Three years ago Sandlin gained her Lieutenant rank with KSP.

Sandlin has expressed devotion to building a solid relationship between KSP and the community as captain. Post 9 serves the counties of Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike.
