Day promoted to Captain

LONDON — The Kentucky State Police Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Region #4 in London has promoted Hazard native Nathan Day to the rank of Captain. Day has held several assignments across the Commonwealth throughout his 12-year tenure with KSP. His career began with KSP-Vehicle Enforcement in Hendersonville. From there, he moved to the Pikeville region as part of the Marijuana Strike Force and was part of the criminal interdiction team working on Kentucky’s interstate systems.

Capt. Day received the rank of Sergeant covering the Morehead region in 2011. Two years later, he was promoted to Lieutenant and returned to Pikeville. Now, he is the Commander of KSP-Vehicle Enforcement Region #4 in London. Capt. Nathan Day is married to Vicky Day, and he is the son of Fred and Elzie Day of Hazard.
