VIPER—A two vehicle collision occurred on Route 7 near Cornett’s Mini Mart on July 23. No one was seriously injured.

Perry County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the two vehicle wreck.

Ruey Couch, a deputy with the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, said that a green Toyota Camry had struck a silver Chevy Silverado, when the Silverado pulled out of the driveway. The collision pushed the Silverado into a ditch.

Couch said that slick roads, from a recent rain, may have contributed to the crash.

Two passengers in the Toyota Camry were reported with minor injuries.
