HAZARD — The best stunt motorcycle riders in the country stormed Hazard over the weekend, bringing with them three days of excitement that consumed the whole town. On Saturday and Sunday, the final round of the Street Bike Freestyle Championship took place in the Perry County Park to crown the overall champion for all of America. The event’s organizer, and Perry County native, Bill Dixon also gave an electrifying performance.

Friday evening, the folks in town were treated to a parade, which featured stunt street bike riders showing off their skills along a route that extended from the park through downtown and then back again. A multitude of sightseers and motorcycle enthusiasts gathered on Main Street and in the park to marvel at the breathtaking stunts the competition’s contestants had mastered.
