HAZARD — The District Wide Pep Rally has become an annual tradition for the Perry County School District. Students from all of Perry County schools travel to Commodore Field on the campus of East Perry Elementary to celebrate the school year. Each student at the event receives a free T-shirt, which also enables them to enter ballgames free. This year the pep rally happened a week after KPREP results for Kentucky schools were released. Staff and students celebrated the Perry County School District’s proficient rating.
