VFW helps local citizens

HAZARD — VFW 7387 in Hazard does a lot of community service behind the scenes. In the past, VFW has given donations to the Homeless Shelter, Hospice and the Veterans Center.

Recently, VFW members built a handicap ramp for Silas Adams of Wabaco. The materials and labor were provided by VFW. This ramp will be of great benefit to the household.

VFW is always seeking volunteers with an interest in helping the community. In Hazard, VFW is located at 1700 N. Main Street. The telephone number is 606-436-4224.
