Perry Co. Senior Citizens take trip to Haney’s Orchard


Courtesy photo On September 27, 2016 the Hazard Perry County Senior Citizens Center took a trip to Haney’s Orchard in Burnside, KY. Forty-two seniors and staff toured the orchard and were able to pick apples. Each senior was given a $5 bag to use in choosing their own apples. After leaving the orchard, the senior enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Golden Corral. Everyone enjoyed the orchard, the beautiful fall weather, and the fellowship. All fees were paid by the Hazard Perry County Senior Citizens Center.
