HAZARD — Perry County’s sixth Little Free Library is now open to the public. Pathfinders of Perry County sponsored the latest addition in the Peace Garden located on Main Street at the entrance to downtown Hazard. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday.

A bench has also been positioned beside the beautifully designed little library, so visitors to the Peace Garden will have a place to sit and read. Donations of books are accepted for all Little Free Libraries. For more information search Southeastern KY Little Free Libraries on Facebook.

This is a busy time for Pathfinders. Pathfinders of Perry County, in partnership with KRADD, is also putting pieces together for a proposed pedestrian and bike plan, which will establish safe and well developed areas for people to walk and bike throughout Perry County.
