HAZARD — The ARH parking lot resembled a fall festival on Oct. 18, as ARH held its appreciation event for the 1,250 employees in Hazard. The celebration included BBQ, music and special gifts for staff members, from all different departments, who work together to keep the hospital in service for the community.
ARH President and CEO, Joe Grossman, was present to chat with employees and thank them personally for their contributions to the team. Over the past few years, ARH in Hazard has experienced several state of the art expansions, which provide much needed medical services in the area.
ARH is one of Perry County’s top employers. No medical service can function without the proper personnel to guide it. The Oct. 18 event in Hazard was ARH’s way of showing employees that they understand this and appreciate the hard work they do for the community.
