Grand Jury hands down indictments

HAZARD — The Perry County Grand Jury handed down indictments last week.

* Tracy Thornsberry, 35, of Kite was indicted on one count of theft by unlawful taking less than $500, one count of public intoxication, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of prescription drugs not in the proper container, and one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set in the amount of $2,500 surety plus MCR.

* Willie Combs, 47, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of first-degree criminal trespass, one count of second-degree disorderly conduct, one count of resisting arrest, one count of third-degree assault, and one count of second offense persistent felony offender. Bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash plus home incarceration and MCR.

* Lelia Couch, 44, of Hazard was indicted on one count of first offense operating a motor vehicle under the influence, one count of first offense and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, and one count of first offense controlled substance prescription not in proper container. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus home incarceration and MCR.

* Joshua Bowman, 39, of Talorsville, North Carolina was indicted this month one count of first-degree and first offense possession of a controlled substance and one count of first offense controlled substance prescription not in proper container. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus home incarceration and MCR.

* Kimberly Hayes, 48, and Twyla Napier, 38, both of Hazard were indicted on one count of theft of vehicle registration plates. Bail was set in the amount of $2,500 cash plus MCR.

* Daniel Combs, 33, of Hazard was indicted this month on one count of theft by unlawful taking more than $500. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus MCR.

* Zebulin Caudill, 20, of Hazard was indicted on one count of trafficking in marijuana, one count of tampering with physical evidence, one count of drug paraphernalia, one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance, one count of illegal possession of a legend drug, one count of prescription drugs not in the prescribed container, and one count of first-degree wanton endangerment. Bail was set in the amount of $5,000 cash plus MCR.

* Jessica Combs, 38, of Hazard was indicted this month one three counts of theft of vehicle registration plate/sticker. Bail was set in the amount of $2,500 cash.
