HAZARD — On Nov. 12, a show like none Hazard has seen will be coming to The Forum downtown. Renowned rap performer, Mystikal, will take the stage, along with nationwide comedy icon, Red Bone. The show will also feature Spicy and The Comp, along with Gregory Taylor.
This show is made possible by Gregory Taylor (the same name as the performer but different person) and Hazard native Victor Gainer. Mystikal has already shared his excitement for performing in Hazard via a video posted to Facebook. Doors will open at 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 12. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 the day of the show.
“I feel good about the show,” said organizer Gregory Taylor, “I am from Kentucky and I have been living down in Orlando. I wanted to do a show up here, so I got in touch with Vic Gainer. I decided to come to Hazard, and I brought my own money to put up to make sure the show got to happen. When I contacted, Mystikal, he said he would love to do a show here. There has never been a mainstream rapper performer The people here have been awesome. I would love to bring more shows to Hazard.”
Some of the proceeds from the event will go towards helping to make Thanksgiving a little better for the Homeless Shelter in Hazard. Folks are asked to bring canned and nonperishable food items to the event to support that cause as well.
Advance tickets are available at the Pantry Shelf and Sports World in Hazard. Tickets will also be available at the door. For more information, contact Victor Gainer at 606-216-6084.
