Election results for Hazard Independent BOE

HAZARD — With 100 percent precincts reporting in, Ralph “Butch” Asher, Lisa A. Townes, and Aster “Cat” Sizemore are elected to the Hazard Independent School Board.

Voters chose up to three candidates on the ballot.

Newcomer Zece D. Davidson could not muster up enough votes to take a spot on the school board.

Sizemore earned 28.31 percent of the votes, with voters giving him 840 total votes.

Townes took 25.28 percent of the votes, with voters casting 750 in her favor.

Asher came out with 24.33 percent of total votes, with voters giving him 722 votes.

Davidson earned 22.08 percent of toal votes, with voters casting 655 votes in her favor.
