Bulan — Deputies with the Perry County Sheriff’s Dept. raided a home in Bulan on the afternoon of Nov. 15. Jason Shane Mullins (age 40) was arrested for selling narcotics. The deputies found pills, marijuana and suspected stolen guns on the scene. More than $1,500 in cash was also discovered.
Social Services was notified about two children in the home. Officers also confiscated a surveillance system that was installed at the house, which they say was used to monitor the surroundings, thus making efforts to successfully approach and apprehend more difficult.
Deputy Tony Eversole was one of the arresting officers. In a WYMT news report about the arrest, Eversole said, “We spent some time monitoring, counting cars, trying to get undercover officers in to make buys. Everything worked out good on this one.”
Mullins was transported to the Kentucky River Regional Jail, where he is charged with six counts of trafficking a controlled substance first degree, three counts of trafficking a legend drug, receiving stolen property and wanton endangerment.
