Estill Neace retires


Students and staff thank him for influential career

PERRY COUNTY — The Perry County School District said goodbye to Estill Neace at the end of the semester, as he officially began his retirement. Neace, who is a lifelong resident of Perry County, devoted his skills to several Perry County schools as a teacher, a coach and a principal.

His career in education began at Willard Elementary. Throughout the years, he also worked at Buckhorn School, Perry County Central, R.W. Combs Elementary, A.B. Combs Elementary and Robinson Elementary, where his career ended as principal of the school.

Neace made a positive impact on many students, as a teacher, and staff, who worked under him during his time as principal. News of his retirement caused a multitude of people to flood social media with thanks for his service and well-wishes for his retirement.
