Kudzu poetry contest

By Sam Neace - [email protected]

Kudzu is the renowned publication from HCTC featuring pieces written by gifted authors throughout the mountains each year. Readers from near and far enjoy Kudzu’s annual glimpse into the heart of Appalachia.

Poets will have an opportunity to, not only contribute, but also win cash and receive special recognition through Kudzu’s poetry contest. Interested poets must submit poems by Tuesday, Feb. 28. Three winners will be chosen, and each winner will receive $100 and will be invited to read at Evening with Poets at Hazard Community and Technical College in April. Each winning poem will also be featured on a broadside. Submit poems at https://kudzu.submittable.com/submit
