Stolen truck found destroyed

HAZARD — The stolen truck Hazard Police Department (HPD) was looking for has been found. The truck was found destroyed off of Hooterville Road near Strongs Branch, which is near Grapevine and Dice communities, over the weekend.

HPD said the white 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty Super Cab had been set on fire. The truck was a complete loss because of the extensive fire damage.

Police also said the yellow salt spreader that was mounted on the back of the truck had been removed and taken.

HPD originally reported the truck had been stolen from the Physician’s Office building located at Hazard ARH around 6 p.m. on Feb. 2.

They are asking if anyone as any information on the theft to contact them at 606-432-2222.

HPD has other methods of submitting tips. You can text tips through their Tip411 by texting the HazardPD plus the tip to 847411. Another method to submit tips is through HPD’s Facebook page.

All tips will remain anonymous.
