JACKSON – Drivers who use KY 550 in the Airport Gardens area of Perry County should be prepared for delays starting next week.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 20, tree cutting operations will take place between the KY 476 intersection, near the old M.C. Napier High School building, and the KY 15 interchange. This work is expected to last approximately two weeks.
While the project is ongoing, drivers should expect delays. One-lane traffic, controlled by flaggers, will be in place where the trees are being cut.
Between 7,300 and 8,400 vehicles use the affected portion of KY 550 each day.
