HAZARD — The City of Hazard issued a boil water advisory for Meadow Brook Terrace on Feb. 27. The advisory will affect at least 20 residents. The advisory was issued so crews could work on fixing a four-inch water line break.
During the advisory, residents are urged to boil their water prior to human use and consumption. The boil water advisory will remain in place until appropriate water samples show the threat of contamination has been eliminated and water to be fit for human use and consumption.
City officials will notify residents when the boil water advisory has ended.
