HAZARD — A ninth-grader at Perry County Central High School recently won an award for her artwork she submitted for the Ad for School Breakfast Art Contest.

Brooklyn Noble, 15, of Chavies won the Kentucky high school division of the Ad for School Breakfast Art Contest sponsored by School Nutrition Association (SNA). She will be entered in the national competition.

Noble will travel with her proud parents, Coby and Brenda, to Covington in June for an SNA brunch where she will be recognized for her achievement.

In addition to being an award-winning artist, Noble enjoys the outdoors. She loves fishing; Noble is on the bass fishing team at PCHS.

Noble loves animals and she hopes to one day become a wildlife rehabilitator.

She plans to attend Lincoln Memorial University after she graduates from high school.
