VIPER — The First Annual Twin Rocks and FFA Spring Livestock Show was held Saturday at Twin Rocks Bible Camp in Viper. All classes of the showcase were open to local youths 21 years old and younger.
A rabbit show, poultry show and goat show, featuring different classes, were part of the judging. Several young people from the area, along with their livestock, participated.
Jason Brashear of Perry County FFA assisted in organizing the event, along with Twin Rocks Bible Camp. Dr. Gene Smith and Tina Smith served as judges.
Twin Rocks Bible Camp also invites everyone to their event called “Easter Weekend at the Rock,” which will be held at the camp Saturday, April 15, and April 16, which is Easter Sunday. Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m., the camp will have taco salad, desserts and drinks for sale, with kids activities and an egg hunt. Coloring stations will be available for the kids, along with a scavenger hunt and crafts. The egg hunt will start at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Easter Sunday will be Family Day at the camp. Twin Rocks encourages parents to bring charcoal and food to grill out or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with their children. Parents can also bring eggs to hide and hunt at the campsite and enjoy the Twin Rocks experience.
