Multiple units from the Kentucky State Police were dispatched late Friday and remained on the scene into the early morning hours Saturday where three people were stabbed at a mobile home park in the Upper Elcomb community of Harlan County.
According to a statement released by KSP Post 10 in Harlan, a call was received at 11 p.m. Friday reporting a domestic disturbance in the mobile home park. Numerous officers and detectives remained on the scene several hours.
Shortly thereafter, a second call was received reporting a stabbing at the same location, police said.
“When units arrived, they discovered that three subjects had been stabbed,” the news release stated.
All three of the injured where transported by ambulance to Harlan ARH Hospital. At least one person was airlifted from ARH to a trauma center for treatment of injuries.
Police said they are not releasing any further details until charges have been filed.
The case remains under investigation by KSP Det. Craig Miller.
